On the morning of June 1, an exhibition of Tian De Xian's paintings celebrating the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China was grandly opened at Jiangsu University, jointly sponsored by Jiangsu University and Zhenjiang Culture, Radio, Film and Tourism Bureau, and hosted by the School of Art of Jiangsu University. Lieutenant General Dong Guishan, former deputy commander of Chengdu Military Region (member of the 17th Central Committee), Senior Colonel Zhang Xuedong, former commander of Mianyang Military Sub-district of Chengdu Military Region, Editor-in-Chief Song Yanming of China Painting Observer, Editor-in-Chief Xu Yihong of Calligrapher Magazine, Mr. Liu Jintian, former director of Zhenjiang Trade Bureau, Xu Wei, deputy director of Zhenjiang Culture, Radio, Film, and Tourism Bureau, as well as Professor Li Hongbo, deputy secretary of the Party Committee of Jiangsu University, Professor Jin Lifu, member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, and Professor Jin Lefu, director of the Party Committee of Jiangsu University. Professor Jin Lifu, Minister of Publicity, Professor Ma Zhiqiang, Minister of Organization of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, and all the leaders of the School of Arts attended the opening ceremony. More than 200 people attended the opening ceremony, including colleagues from Zhenjiang City, calligraphy and painting enthusiasts from various enterprises and institutions in Zhenjiang, and some teachers, postgraduate and undergraduate students from the School of Art of Jiangsu University. Zhu Lixin hosted the opening ceremony, Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Art of Jiangsu University.

Professor Han Rong, Dean of Jiangsu University School of Arts, spoke first. She congratulated the opening of the exhibition of Mr. Tian De Xian's paintings and expressed her gratitude for Mr. Tian's concern and support to the teaching and practice of the college in the past two years. Then, Mr. Tian De Xian, the painter of China Xu Beihong Painting Institute, presented his works to Jiangsu University and gave a speech of thanks. Next, professor Jin Lifu, Minister of Propaganda of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of Jiangsu University, and Professor Ma Zhiqiang, Minister of Organization of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of Jiangsu University, accepted the gift of paintings on behalf of the university.

At the end of the opening ceremony, Professor Li Hongbo, Deputy Secretary of Party Committee of Jiangsu University, spoke. He pointed out that this year is the centenary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, which is a year of great joy and celebration. The theme of today's exhibition is "painting the original heart, celebrating the birthday with ink," with "lucky bird" cranes and "rich flower" peonies as the artistic expression objects. It not only creates the mood of "congratulating the birthday" and "increasing the age", but also adds a sense of celebration and peace to the celebration of the centenary of the founding of the Party on the campus of Jiangsu University. As an adjunct professor at the School of Art of Jiangsu University, Mr. Tian came to Jiangda University to hold an exhibition on the occasion of the 100th birthday of the Party, and celebrated the centennial with 100 paintings, reflecting the original heart of an art worker and coalescing Mr. Tian's love for the Party, deep affection for the motherland and friendship for Jiangda University. He encouraged the faculty and students to more consciously and deeply implement General Secretary Xi Jinping's important remarks on the work of literature and art, to deeply understand the new historical orientation of the Chinese nation; to remember the mission without forgetting the original intention, to consciously merge one's artistic life into the cause of the Party and the people; to draw a portrait for the times, to establish a biography for the times, to clarify the virtues for the times, to use art to coalesce the majestic power of the new era to march forward; to strive to create works worthy of the times, worthy of the people, and worthy of the people. We will strive to create fine works worthy of the times, worthy of the people, and worthy of the nation. Mr. Tian De Xian, the author of the exhibition, is a painter of the China Xu Beihong Painting Institute of the Overseas Chinese Association of Culture and a director of the Chinese Painting and Calligraphy Association. Mr. Tian has been engaged in the art of painting for more than 40 years, using his brush freely, specializing in large scenes and panoramic flowers and birds, and good at creating the mood of the picture, which is full of rhythm from a distance and full of interest from a close view.

After the opening ceremony, all the members moved to the exhibition hall to observe the works. The exhibition also attracted some international students from the College of Art to stop and admire. In the morning, the exhibition organizer also organized a seminar on creating Tian De Xian's paintings for students and teachers.
