Recently, the 2017 Jiangsu Interior Design Society Awards Ceremony was successfully held in Nanjing Yonglong. The awards presented include the awards of the 2017 Yonglong Star Space Cup Jiangsu Young Students' Interior Design Grand Prix, which was selected by the Provincial Society. More than 200 people attended the awards ceremony. Li Xiao, from the Department of Environmental Design of our institute, led the award-winning students from the Department of Environmental Design to participate in the ceremony.

The purpose of this year's Design Grand Prix is to enlighten the innovative thinking of interior design students, stimulate innovation and create a strong atmosphere conducive to scientific and technological innovation and talent growth, and improve the enthusiasm and design level of the majority of students in our province to participate in design practice. In this competition, Professor Han Rong and Associate Professor Li Xiao instructed the 2015 environmental design students to obtain 3 bronze medals, 4 excellent awards and 3 encouragement prizes. Among them, Li Xiao was awarded the Outstanding Instructor Award, and Jiangsu University won the Best Organization Award in many participating universities in this competition.

The competition promoted the professional exchange of interior design in the province, and also reflected the good teaching ability and research level of the environmental design major of the School of Art of our school. It has won the reputation of the Jiangsu University Art College in the province.
