On the morning of March 14, the School of Art held a seminar on overseas study and guidance for college students. Jiang Yonghua, deputy director of the International Exchange Office, was invited to the college for guidance. All the counselors and some academic instructors of the Art Academy participated in the exchange meeting. The meeting was presided over by Wang Fei, deputy secretary of the Party Committee and vice president.

At the exchange meeting, Deputy Director Jiang Yonghua gave a comprehensive and detailed introduction from the four aspects of the school's internationalization policy document, the 2018 internationalization goal formulation principle, the overseas student study project overview, and the application for the overseas university master's eight elements. Combining the specifics of the art school's majors and disciplines, Director Jiang analyzed and introduced the basic situation and comparative advantages of the Ontario Institute of Art and Design, Lingnan University in South Korea, Kingston University in London, and the National University of Singapore. In the exchange, Director Jiang also shared the past work experience in the College of Liberal Arts, and shared the specific practices of how to promote college students' overseas study at the college level. At the same time, he also made useful suggestions on how academic tutors can use the school policy to actively apply for high-level visits. At the meeting, the participating teachers also exchanged and discussed the problems encountered in the overseas study and guidance of college students.

In the summary of the meeting, Deputy Secretary Wang Fei hoped that all counselors and academic instructors would further enhance their confidence, strengthen their learning and innovative methods, and promote their overseas study work to achieve new achievements.
