On April 4, 2018, the 6th SDC SAIC Design International Challenge was held at the Art Institute 1306. The presentation was hosted by Associate Professor Sha Qiang, an art researcher. More than 200 students interested in car design participated in this event.

At the beginning of the presentation, Mr. Sha Qiang expressed his welcome and gratitude to the arrival of SAIC on behalf of the Art Institute. Next, by SAIC designer Wang Xiaochun and the students in-depth communication and exchange. First of all, Wang Xiaochun's designers cut through the company's general situation and corporate culture, analyzed the current employment prospects and market needs of industrial design, and gave high recognition to our students. Subsequently, the design team behind SAIC Group was introduced, and the design layout and future prospects of SAIC Group were briefly described, so that students had a general understanding of the design department of SAIC. For the design challenge that students are most concerned about, Wang Xiaochun introduced the students' background, task book, awards and qualifications to the students. At the end of the presentation, the review video of a design challenge came to an end.

This presentation is intended to pay tribute to the classics, look forward to the future of the car, encourage young students who are creative and eager to join the automotive design industry, and join hands to create their own car dreams!
