On April 24th, the 20th CDN China Automotive Design Competition came to an end at the Beijing 798 Art Center. The award ceremony was hosted by Chris Bangor, former design director of the world famous design master BMW. Our school's art academy has 2 finalists, 3 finals, and 1 single championship, ranking second in the participating colleges. Ni Ziheng, a graduate student directed by Professor Lu Zhangping, was nominated for the Best Ecological Solution Award and the Best Travel Solution Award for the top three awards and won the Best Ecological Solution Award and was nominated for the Best Student Design Award of the Year; The works of Chen Guiyang and Bai Zijian, directed by Associate Professor Sha Qiang and Huang Liqing, were selected as the top three in the Best Ecological Solution Award.

The CDN China Automotive Design Competition is hosted by the famous British automotive design media CARDESIGNNEWS. It is one of the most influential events in international automotive design and one of the important ways to select and design reserve talents for automobile OEMs. It has been held for nine times. The event has received great attention from famous automobile design universities, automobile OEMs and car-loving students at home and abroad. Our school participated in the recent 4 competitions. A total of 7 works were shortlisted, 3 works entered the finals, and won 1 single prize. Currently, it is located in 19 universities.

This award demonstrates the design innovation ability and spiritual outlook of our school students. It plays an important role in strengthening the school's educational atmosphere in this field, enhancing the influence of running schools and promoting students' high-level employment.
