On October 16th, the Art College held a presentation on the Sino-French Joint Cultivation Program for Arts Disciplines in Room 1306. This presentation centered around the Sino-French Joint Cultivation Program for Arts Disciplines, aiming to provide more opportunities for international study and development for art majors in the college. The presentation was delivered by Ms. Zhou, the person in charge of the joint cultivation program. Ms. Jiao Menglu, the counselor specifically responsible for this work at the Art College, and more than 120 undergraduate and graduate students who have intentions to study abroad or are interested in overseas exchange programs attended the event.
During the presentation, Ms. Zhou elaborated on the master's direct entry program, semester exchange program, and summer/winter school programs within the Sino-French joint cultivation program for arts disciplines. She provided detailed explanations on various aspects, including the general environment of art education, professional resources in the design field, master's cultivation curriculum modules, and life in France for studies. She also introduced several French institutions suitable for various majors such as visual communication design, animation, digital media, environmental art design, fine arts, product design, and industrial design. Additionally, she discussed the value, significance, and risks and challenges of overseas study experiences in the current era, highlighting the advantages of the Sino-French joint cultivation program for arts disciplines. Subsequently, Ms. Zhou shared the specific application process, application fees, and life in France for studies under the joint cultivation program.
The successful conduct of this presentation on the Sino-French Joint Cultivation Program for Arts Disciplines not only strengthened the students' understanding of the courses offered by the Sino-French joint cultivation program but also provided them with more diverse options. Furthermore, it subtly helped broaden their international horizons, establish broader communication channels, and foster innovative thinking modes for creation, preparing them well for future study abroad opportunities. The students also expressed that they had benefited greatly from the presentation.
