On the morning of May 29th, the opening ceremony of the 2024 Graduate Exhibition of the Art School was held grandly on the school square. Attendees included Zhou Zhengsong, Deputy Director of the Graduate School of Jiangsu University, Zhao Ming, Party Secretary of the Art School, Han Rong, Dean of the Art School, Chen Guoqiang, Deputy Party Secretary and Deputy Dean, Zhu Zhe, Deputy Dean, Sha Chunfa, Deputy Dean, heads of various majors, and representatives of supervisors. The opening ceremony was hosted by Deputy Dean Zhu Zhe.
At the opening ceremony, Peng Yaoyao, a graduate representative, shared her experiences and insights from her graduation creation and, on behalf of all graduates, wished the school and the college a brighter future.
Associate Professor Sun Ningna spoke as a representative of the supervisors. She summarized that the outstanding achievements were attributed to the tireless efforts of the teachers, the perseverance of the students day and night, and the strong support of the school's scientific management and parents. Ms. Sun presented four words to the graduates: "Remain true to the original aspiration". She hoped that the graduates would remain modest and unimpetuous, give their all, hold firm to their goals in the future, spread their wings and fly high, and never forget their original aspirations.
Zhao Ming, Party Secretary of the Art School, announced the official opening of the 2024 Graduate Exhibition. Following that, the leaders and students moved to the exhibition hall to jointly experience the diverse artistic space created by the graduate students of the school through lines, colors, materials, internet technology, and other languages.
This exhibition showcased the outstanding graduation designs of graduate students from eight research directions: Visual and Information Design, Materials and Decoration Design, Public Environmental Art Design, Digital Art Design, Art Appraisal, Collection, and Market Research, Chinese Painting, Calligraphy, and Oil Painting. These works not only demonstrated the students' solid artistic skills and unique design styles but also reflected their profound understanding and unique insights into the real world.
Graduation is not an endpoint but a new starting point in life. It is hoped that the students will continue to maintain their passion and pursuit for art, continuously explore and create new design boundaries, and contribute their strength to the prosperity and development of society.
