On May 14th, the Art School held a work promotion meeting for the 2024 graduate class in Classroom 1308. The meeting was hosted by Jiao Menglu, the graduate counselor of the school, and all graduates of the 2024 class participated.
During the meeting, Ms. Jiao arranged the key tasks for the recent graduate class, mainly including the selection of academic scholarships and outstanding graduate students for the 2024 graduate academic year, precautions for filling out graduation archive-related materials, relevant procedures for graduation and leaving school, and the process for filling out the employment system.
Ms. Jiao emphasized the need to focus on both academic performance and employment for graduates, stating that "both hands must be strong." Academically, students should strengthen communication with their supervisors according to the graduation timeline and complete their graduation thesis and graduation exhibition with high quality. In terms of employment, students should change their mindset, make rational choices, take proactive actions, and establish an employment concept of "taking a job first and then choosing a career." They should also pay timely attention to employment information updates from the school and the college.
Finally, the attending students engaged in interactive exchanges regarding graduation and employment-related issues. Ms. Jiao communicated and answered the students' questions and difficulties. This work meeting helped guide graduates to clarify their priorities and approach various affairs with a more proactive attitude, striving to graduate on schedule and secure smooth employment.
